James Merrill Principal, Princeton, NJ As director of the Princeton office, Mr. Merrill, a part of Shen Milsom & Wilke since 1986, has a broad understanding of all of the company's design disciplines. He has managed a wide range of multi-discipline projects in sectors ranging from education to healthcare. Mr. Merrill acoustic experience spans 17 years and includes projects encompassing all aspects of architectural and mechanical system acoustics and vibration control. He has served as project manager and designer on numerous projects involving acoustical isolation construction–where floors, walls, and ceiling are acoustically decoupled from the base building structure. Mr. Merrill has a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, with a specialization in environmental building systems. He is a member of the Acoustical Society of America. |
